When he founded the company in 1937, Fritz Schäfer laid the foundations for his life’s work and that of his four sons. Over the years, the factory that originally produced sheet metal goods evolved into the legally independent corporate groups SCHÄFER WERKE, SSI SCHÄFER and SCHÄFER Shop, which operate independently of one another in diverse business sectors worldwide.
